IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bryan Marcellous
Wigginton, Jr.
May 5, 1939 – July 22, 2025
Bryan Marcellous Wigginton, Jr., 86, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully
on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Dalton Square in Dalton, Georgia. A proud American,
devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather, Bryan lived a life filled with
purpose, competition, and quiet joy.
He honorably served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for nearly 30 years,
dedicating his life to the values he held dear: duty, honor, and service. Bryan also
contributed to his community through his work in Information Technology in Dalton, most
notably at Coronet Industries.
Bryan is remembered for his warm, infectious smile—a smile so bright it could light up
any room. He was a lover of family, nature, and a lifelong sports enthusiast, especially
golf. On the course and off it, he was a fierce competitor, always giving his best and
inspiring others to do the same.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan Marcellous Wigginton, Sr. and Ollie
Mae (Hovey) Wigginton. He is survived by the love of his life, Wallie, his wife of nearly
61 wonderful years. Their partnership was a model of enduring love and devotion and
mutual respect. Bryan also leaves behind his sons, Timothy Wigginton of Atlanta, GA,
and Bryan O. Wigginton of Portland, OR, as well as his cherished granddaughter,
Megan Wigginton of Atlanta, GA.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Bryan's life; the date will be announced at a
later time.
