Dearil Wayne Sikes, a treasured soul admired for his loving nature, kindness, and generosity, passed away after an extended illness on July 28, 2025, at the age of 57, in Rome, GA. Born on September 6, 1967, in Chickasha, OK, Dearil's life was a testament to his steadfast devotion to his family and his life's work in the drywall profession.

From an early age, Dearil's character was marked by a strong work ethic. As a lifelong drywaller, he was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and the pride he took in his work.

Family was the heart of Dearil's world. He is survived by a loving family: his mother, Sue; his devoted wife, Alesia; his brother, James, and sister-in-law, Nicole; his children, Kyle, Eric and daughter-in-law, Michelle, Sara and son-in-law, Ivan, Jacob, and daughter-in-law, Lesly; and six (6) grandchildren.
