IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice Ann
Gragg
November 29, 1944 – January 2, 2026
Janice Ann Carden Gragg passed peacefully on January 2, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.
Born the fourth of eight children to Thomas and Maxine Worley Carden, Janice learned early the importance of family, teamwork, and quiet strength. A proud captain of her Valley Point High School basketball team, she carried those qualities throughout her life.
At just 15, Janice met her high school sweetheart, Richard, beginning a lifelong love rooted in devotion and resilience. Together they raised three children: Starr Gragg (Dave Greeson), April White (Tracy), and Ricky Gragg. She was a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
Janice dedicated many years to Hamilton Medical Hospital, retiring from the Central Sterile Department in a supervisory role. Outside of work, she found joy in gardening, travel, staying active, cheering on her favorite teams (GO BRAVES!), and reading. Above all, she cherished her family.
She was preceded in death by her son Ricky and her siblings Jeff, Katy, Carol, and Eli. She is survived by her siblings Johnny, Candi, and Debbie, along with many extended family members.
The family is deeply grateful to RossWoods, Amedysis Hospice, and her caregivers and dear friends, Jean Greeson and Lisa Hall, for their compassion and care.
Hers was a life well lived, and she now rests in perfect peace, held in God's loving care. She will be remembered and cherished always.
