Toledo Johns Bisbee (Jackson), age 78, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on March 22, 2026, at her home.

Tody was born on January 13, 1948, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Garland and Myra Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Myra Jackson; her son, Andy Johns; the father of her children, Thomas Johns; and her mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Lillian Johns.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Bisbee; her dog/sidekick/best friend, Remi; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and David Wagner; sisters, Jeanette Jackson McKenzie and Mackie Jackson Matheson (Ray). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole Brown, Shea Garrett (Blake), Drew Johns (Amber), David Wagner (Holli), and Brynn Wagner; and her great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Brantley, Beckett, Adelaide, Finley, Olivia, and Maddie. She is also survived by her niece and nephew, as well as many lifelong friends.

Tody was a 1966 graduate of Tyner High School. She worked as a hairdresser before joining her family at Johns BBQ, where she remained until retirement. Tody loved spending her days on the farm caring for her goats and chickens. She also enjoyed many summers camping at the lake with her lifelong campground friends.

Per Tody's request, no services will be held at this time. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to the doctors and staff at Peeples Cancer Center for the impeccable care and compassion they showed Tody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peeples Cancer Center in memory of Toledo Bisbee.
