Obituary

Tommy went to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Born in Detroit Michigan, living a life well-traveled with his family often moving around the country as a boy, and later in life doing the same, having lived in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, and California. After high school Tommy enjoyed a brief stint riding a motorcycle in Motor Cross Races around the Dallas area and loved to tell stories about scoring a major sponsorship. In 1975, he joined the U.S. Navy, later working in the dredging business, as well as the automotive business, and retired from construction as a drywall installer for 30 plus years. He was married to his wife of 35 years, Debbie, until her passing in 2019. Throughout his life he loved spending time at the beach, any activity on the water, boating, skiing, especially spending time with his friends and family on his sailboat, watching NASCAR, riding his motorcycle, and listening to music, live in-concert, on CD, or later in life on Alexa, but most of all with his friends, Andy and Fred, live in Fred's living room. Above all he loved his family and took special pride in each and every one. He was also loved by the pets of every friend and family member, especially the dogs, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his daughter Aimee Ross, son in law Jason Ross, grandchildren Erika Schaffer (Adam Schaffer) and Logan Ross, his sister Katie Wilks, aunts Patsy Smiddy Kees and Ruth Ann Bunch Smith, mother in law Jeanette Ray Burnette, sisters in law Mona Bunch, Darla Rogers, brothers in law Larry Wilks, David Ray, Buck Rogers, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Colleen Ray Bunch, his father Odell Bunch, mother Virginia 'Jenny' Bunch, and brother Charles 'Chuck' Bunch.
