With deep love and profound sadness, our family announces the passing of Wanda J. Ellis, who left this world peacefully on November 29, 2025, just two days shy of her 81st birthday.

Born on December 1, 1944, Wanda lived a life marked by strength, generosity, and compassion. Whether through her words, her laughter, or her acts of care, Wanda touched the lives of many.

Wanda dedicated more than 30 years of her career as the Executive Director of the American Floor Covering Alliance where she became a respected leader in the industry. Her hard work, professionalism, and commitment helped shape the organization and left a lasting legacy among colleagues and business partners alike.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, B.C. and Estelene Stafford.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Manis, who remained devoted to her mother throughout her life. Grandchildren, Amanda and Kevin Summey of Resaca, GA, John and Angel Mullins of Crandall, GA, and Jennifer and Lance Andrews of Copperas Cove, TX. Great grandchildren Brevin Mullins, Peytan Mullins, Lilian Mullins, Westlyn Andrews, Liam Summey. Wanda is also survived by her siblings: Judy (Wilson) Rogers, Barbara Mizera, Shirley Brewer, Chuck (Connie) Stafford, Randy (Faye) Stafford, and many special nieces and nephews.

Wanda's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her enduring friendships, and the countless moments of love, patience, and wisdom she shared throughout her life.

A gathering to honor and remember Wanda will be held at a later date. The family appreciates the support, prayers, and kindness offered during this time of grief. Many thanks to Traditions Health Hospice and Palliative Care over the last several months.
