Windell R. Ridley, 84, of Chatsworth, GA, gained his angel wings on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Ridley is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jessie Lee Ridley; brothers, George Lamar (G.L.) Ridley and Reverend James Ridley; and sister, Dovie Murvis Roberts.

He is survived by his first true love, Jeanette Greenway; children, Buck (Norma) Ridley, Joyce Long, Becky (Michael) Scott, Crystal (Rodney) Pelfrey, and Scottie Ridley; sister, Dessie Montgomery; bonus daughters, Jennifer Smith and Cleo (Sissy) Bullard; grandchildren, Justin Long, Cody Long, Lyndsy Gates, Makayla Ridley, Christopher Ridley, Ellijah Pelfrey, Devin Scott, Zach Crumley, Joey Crumley, and Jaithan Neal; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn Long and Kendylnn Gates. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A celebration of life for Windell Ridley will be held at a later date.
