Uneada Faye Miller

Uneada (Nita or Nene) Faye Miller, age 60, of Dalton, GA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was born on February 8, 1966, in Oak Ridge, TN to her parents Ron Whitson and Edna (Brummett) Davis.

Nita was a member of Full Bible Trinity Free Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Nita enjoyed spending time with family, reading books, writing in her journals, and watching her favorite TV shows.

Nita is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Jedediah) Randle of Mayfield, KY; one son, Zachery (Kimberly) Parker of Cunningham, KY; three grandchildren, Layla, Adonis, and Aireon Randle of Mayfield, KY; three sisters, Debbie (David) Patterson of Dalton, GA, Janice Whitson of Oliver Springs, TN, Denise Whitson of Oliver Springs, TN; two brothers, Ronald Whitson of Oliver Springs, TN, Jim Whitson of Dalton, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Nita was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David; two sisters, Patricia Lawson and Tammy Whitson; two brothers, Mike Whitson and Greg Whitson; stepfather Jim Davis; niece and nephew, J.D. and Kim Patterson; and best friend Diana Miniard.

A huge thank you to her sister Debbie, nieces Brenda and Brittany, and others who assisted with caring and providing for Nita over the past few years.

A memorial service will be held at Full Bible Trinity Free Church on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Jarrett officiating. There will be a dinner afterwards to celebrate Nene’s life.
