Direct (Simple) Cremations for $1,495    (10% off for Veterans)

This cost includes:
  • Taking your loved one into our care within a 60-mile radius of Chatsworth, GA. If outside of this distance, a small fee will be added to your cost.
  • An arrangement conference with our professional staff. This conference can be held in person, on-line, or by telephone.
  • A cardboard cremation casket (other options are available for an additional cost).
  • The cremation process, which is done in our on-site crematory. A family viewing area for the cremation process is available upon request.
  • Completion of all paperwork for the receipt of certified copies of death certificates.
  • The delivery of cremains to the family. The family will be notified when cremains are ready to be picked up from the crematory. If cremains need to be mailed, a small fee will be added.

Other services which include an additional fee:
  • Cremation caskets.
  • Family visitation and possible on-site memorial service.
  • Urns or suitable urn-vaults and containers for cremains burial.
  • Costs of certified copies of death certificates ($25 dollars for the first certified death certificate in GA/$5 for each additional certified copy. $15 dollars for each certified death certificate in TN).

PLANNING A MEMORIAL SERVICE

If your family is planning a memorial service, North Georgia Cremations can provide valuable assistance to you in that planning process. Here are a few options that might be considered: First, our Direct (Simple) Cremation and On-Site Memorial Service. This includes the entire direct cremation options plus an on-site memorial service for no more than twenty (20) family members before the cremation process with the family minister or an ordained member of the clergy provided by North Georgia Cremations performing the service. The cost of this first option is $1,750. Second, our Direct (Simple) Cremation and Graveside Memorial Service. This option includes all the direct cremation options, plus we will make arrangements with any non-privately owned cemeteries where the interment of the cremains will take place. We will also contact an area gravedigger to set up a tent and provide twelve chairs for participants at the cemetery. The gravedigger will open and close the grave as well. North Georgia Cremations will also make arrangements with the family minister or provide an ordained member of the clergy to perform the service. The cost of this option is $2,200.
We will, of course, also assist families with planning a memorial service at their church home.
